Election 2012

Morning, all! I just wanted to make a quick stop in to show off my mad voting skillz:

I generally tend to refrain from any topics of potential controversy on this blog, mostly because I’m a delicate flower who is easily crushed. And also, because whenever I *DO* talk about political things, this tends to happen:

Lesson: hilarious things you say on Gchat WILL be immortalized as a Facebook status, folks.

So ANYWAY, you see why I rarely post anything related to my political or religious beliefs on here, hahaha. And I’m really okay with that! I mean, this blog really isn’t a forum for me to try and foist my personal beliefs on you all anyway. It’s a forum for me to try and foist details of my personal life on you! Duh!

But, being serious for a moment (arrrrgh, it’s so harrrrrd): Regardless of how you vote, why you vote, or who you’re voting for, just go out and vote today. Today is a day where every citizen should take advantage of the fact that we have the option and ability to vote at all. And that’s coming from someone who is admittedly more in the “politics-schmolitics” camp than anything else. But I still voted!

If you’re still on the fence about making the trip down to the voting office (it took me less than 10 minutes to get in and out–gotta love Falls Church!), consider this:

No vote = no complaining about the President for the next 4 years.

So c’mon, if for nothing else, at least protect your ability to complain about this country’s leadership. It’s, like, a basic human need! ;)

Happy voting, everyone!
