Monday? More like No-Funday. (Weigh-in #18)

I am so frantically busy and hectic that I barely have time to eek this entry out. Whew! This Monday is kicking my butt, so I’m afraid you’ll have to wait until later to hear about my weekend full of brother’s birthday celebrations, gingerbread houses and cookie decorations. But in the meantime, hopefully this will tide you over:

207.2 lbs.

So it’s not the 2 lb loss I’m aiming for each week, but considering the amount of cookie dough and icing sugar I consumed over the weekend (not to mention the pizza from last night… Oops. Hehe.) I’m kind of amazed I lost anything, let alone a full pound!

Total loss to date: 38.8 pounds. Almost to 40!

With Christmas hanging around at the end of the week and things being crazy busy this week until then, I’m not really sure how well I’ll do. It’s hard. The holidays are full of joy, festiveness, crazy families, and… food. That’s kind of the formula, unfortunately. I might not make 200 by 1/8/2011 now, and I’ve made peace with that, but I absolutely refuse to gain anymore weight during this holiday. So, hopefully at least that will be accomplished, and if I manage to scale down a few libbies in the process, all the better. 🙂


  1. a loss is still a loss and something to be proud of! If you try and go to the gym and workout (which I am pretty sure you have not been at all? not that i should talk!) then it would help speed up the loss.

  2. Congrats on the weight loss. Don’t be so hard on yourself. I’m jealous that you are still losing weight throughout the holidays.

  4. Even if you don’t make it to 200 by the cruise, you’ve still lost a ton of weight over the past few months! And not gaining weight like some other people (cough cough, me) is a great accomplishment!
