Weigh-in #6

Hopped on the scale bright ‘n early this morning, so without further adieu:


So that’s a 2.2 lb loss for the week! I definitely feel good about it, and while of course I wish I could lose 3, 4, 5 pounds a week, I am trying to be realistic about it all. Overall, since I started my diet (and this blog!) that means I’ve lost 21.2 pounds total!

Okay, so a few goals of mine that I think can be published now that it isn’t totally ludicrous to think that they will happen:

Weigh under 220 lbs – That is how much I weighed my sophomore year of college… I think.
Lose 10% of my body weight (24.6 lbs) – I’m at 8.5% already!

I think I can accomplish both of these goals by my first October weigh-in, so here’s hoping! If that does happen, maybe I’ll post some more of my short-term / longer-term goals (basically any goal prior to my end goal of 160-165) later. Anyway, just wanted to update you guys! Definitely don’t stop with the support y’all – I seriously think that your positive comments are what is vaporizing my fat. 🙂

  2. Congrats! Glad to see that this week’s weigh-in went much better than last week’s. I think a loss around 2 pounds per week is really good. I am watching the Biggest Loser (last season) right now, and I hate how they cry because they only lose 3 pounds or so. In the real world that is a great loss and I hate how shows like TBL give people wrong ideas about what kind of weight loss is healthy.
    You are so close to your two goals, I have no doubt you can do it. I have a long list of mini goals myself, some really close but the last mini goal is my goal weight and that is far far away. I think they’re so helpful.

  3. hey! i was at road runner sports in FC this weekend and they have a women’s night thing oct 7th…massages, pedis and, most importantly, sportsbra fittings! you should totally come!

  5. so, lets schedule an “october weigh-in” photoshoot! this is totally worth celebrating with a cute outfit, some glam heels, and a camera!

    • @ Ali – I would love to! If not only to be able to brag to the blogosphere how amaaaazing your photos are. Plus, you’re leaving me soon, aren’t you! We gotta get in a picture sesh before you abandon me for the South 😉
